A short conversation
Note Of The Day: It’s first day of the month, almost end of the year, things really do happen in a way unknowingly…
Thought Of The Day: I love it when you tell me that you’re all mine!
I was kinda boring yesterday, surfing the net and suddenly my mobile rang with a very familiar ring-tone. It’s AuntyJ. “Hello, what’s up? I said.
“Oh, hi, had your dinner yet?” she asked me in return. “Yes” I reply short.
“Well, remember last time you use to have a SLR camera for your college projects?” she asked in detail. “Oh, yeah, it’s still with me” I paused a while thinking what she is up to before replying her.
It’s been almost three year that camera is with me, untouched. I bought it just for the sake of the college assignment. The most, I only use it for not more then 10 times. What a waste.
“So, one of my staff wanted to get a camera, I told him about yours and he is interested, I told him i’s about RM1k plus when you bought it.
And now you are selling it for RM500.” AuntJ continued. “Eh, but that was few years back when I bought it, I bet it’s not worth even RM300″ I replied.
“What? As far as I know it’s still brand new and untouched since you finish your projects, what’s wrong with selling to him with that rate?” AuntJ explained further. “Oh, ok, but I need to check out the condition again and confirm with you” I just too lazy to reply further in case she will mumble a lot…
Well, anyone know about how to check whether your SLR camera is till in a good condition or not? Do let me know, at least some basic steps. If not I need to send to any camera shop to check for me which I was actually too lazy to do…

Looks like I’m not the only one around having some things untouched…haha
Yeahlah, you don’t have to remind me that ok… View all comments by Cavin
hmm. best maybe to just let the guy look at it & let him decide?
unless you are worried or just wanna be safe then either an old skool camera expert (or enthusiast) or ur local cam shop wld be a grand idea
i for one cant imagine life now before digicams came into the picture… (i still recall my first digicam i bought from a pc fair after moving from a SLR - the res was only 640×480!)
