Do you make an obedient worker?
Are you one of those who always obey what your bosses told you to do? Or the other way round?
Recently, I started to feel irritate with my bosses. It sounds to me that he is always behind two faces. At one time, he could have told me A story and the next moment, he will tell me the B story!
I don’t know, maybe every 99% bosses available on earth behave that way. If that’s what suppose to be, how I wish all of them just vanished into the thin air!
OK, maybe I’m what you say “cruel”. But, that’s reality. Here, what’s happen:
Yesterday conversation
“EeLeen, you see, everything wrong! This is not 212mm, it’s 0.5mm lesser. Make sure you do the correct measurement with actual steps!” my bos said with an angry and loud voice. Almost a scolding to me…
I quickly open up the file and check out all the measurement! To my surprise, there isn’t any error at all. Finally I check out the print out. It’s really not 212mm…
Ok, so I reprint again and again, still it won’t came out as 212mm! To my dismay, I explain the problem to my bos.
“Impossible, all this while we been doing the same thing, still it’s correct, what have you did, that this time, it came out wrong?” my bos asked me in a scornful voice.
“Besides, even the previous designer did it in a well manner, but how come now cannot? my bos continued to protest.
I just keep quiet since my mind still thinking what is happening…
A while later, I decide to print out those work by the previous designer. Guess what, all the artwork appear to be the same error as mine!
I was actually very furious with my bos! Obviously, all this while he never actually check out the measurement at all. But today he put all the fault on me!
Today conversation
After I explain everything to my manager, he go and explain to my bos. In the end, all my bos said was “Oh, it’s the printer fault! No wonder all this while the measurement also slightly offside!”
So, this time you are with your double face again!
