Pods & Petals’ Giftlab
Recently I has been making some deliveries order online with one of the Malaysia Florist. Personally I kind of love their packaging and stuff from what I check out from their site.
So I have actually made three orders from them. First of all, after I have make my payment, I usually will called them up and check out with them whether they receive my payment or not since I make my payment through e-banking.
Here is the conversation:
“Hello, Pods & Petals Giftlab”
“Hey, yeah, this is EeLeen here, I would like to check you regarding my payment for the orders which I have made, just to make sure you have receive it.”
“Ok, I’ll pass you to the account department then, hold on for a second”
“All right, thanks!”
(After 1 minute waiting)
“Hello, this is XXXX here, May I help you?
“Yes, this is EeLeen here, I would like to check you regarding my payment for the orders which I have made, just to make sure you have receive it.”
“Hold on a second, may I have your full name?.”
“Sure, Ee Leen.”
“How to spell?”
“Double e and l double e n.”
“Err, is it Elaine something?.”
“No, it’s not an English name, it’s only double e and l double e n.”
“Oh, ok, may I have your ordering ID?
“Ok, it’s 1, 2 and 3, altogether there orders.”
“Ok, let me check for you miss.”
(After a few second)
“Miss, your payment isn’t listed in our system. How and when do you make your payment?”
“One payment at last week Friday and another was this morning, I make the payment online through e-banking”
“Oh, I think it won’t stated in our account system at the moment”
“Well, so do you think you can ask the in charge person to contact me regarding this matter?”
“Yes, sure, I will informed the in charge person to contact you.”
“Ok, thanks.”
(Later evening at 5pm)
“Hello, may I speak to xxxx?
“Hold on miss.”
“Hello, xxxx here, may I help you?
“Hi, I thought you suppose to get back to me about my payment whether your has receive it or not.
“Oh, I think I reply to your email already!!!
“But I didn’t received any email yet the whole morning or afternoon.
“Ok, let me check…
(A few second later)
“Oh, so sorry, I have type in the wrong email address!
“Well, so could you please send me the email again? And I have make some changes on it, please make the amendment as well.
“Yes, I will do accordingly to your request and by the way, the orders suppose to send on Mother’s Day right, we need to charge you extra delivery charges on that day!”
(What? Your didn’t mention about that at all earlier? And you didn’t even take any effort to tell me about it until I called you now!!!)
“Oh, ok, how much I need to pay you now?”
“Hold on a second, I check for you”
(After a few second)
“Hello, since you already make the payment so we are not going to extra charge you for the delivery on Mother’s Day!” And this is something like special discount for you, not for other time.
“Oh, ok, thanks”
(A weeks later, 14 May 2007)
“Hello, Pods & Petals Giftlab”
“Hey, yeah, this is EeLeen here, I wanted to check somethings about my orders whether it was delivered yesterday.
“Hold on a second, may I have your full name?.”
“Sure, Ee Leen. Double e and l double e n.”
“Ok, there is an order sent on yesterday at 9am.”
“Ok, but I have two order yesterday.”
“Oh, let me check, ok, another suppose to send to Wendy Chang… but the delivery date is not updated in our system yet. I let you know about the time again when it was update”
“Ok, but when will I get to know?”
“Err, as soon as possible by today.”
“Hmm, ok…thanks.”
(A few minute later)
“Hello, this is EeLeen here, I want to check with you regarding the Digital Photo Reviews for my orders” Is it something like a photo of the real time deliveries with the recipient?
” Oh, LoL, nope you mistaken, that’s only a copy of the image of the item you choose to send to your recipient.”
“Huh? I thought it’s a photo of the real time deliveries with the recipient!” And I have that with all my three orders!”
“LoL, is it? Nope, you have make mistake, many of our client also mistaken that!
“Oh, ok, so when I will get the photo anyway? My three orders has been delivered last week!”
“Oh, ok, I will send the copy to you soon if you want it”

(What the fuck? I have paid RM5 for a photo of the real time delivery and I have three orders which cost me RM15 for some images that I can easily get it online??? Is this the way you “cheat” as consumers?
Worst, it’s like I sound more like a stupid fool when even the people who work there laugh at me for spending RM15 for something worthless. Is this what you call good customer service?
Moreover, I have to spend time calling them a few time and also waste my money to call them)
So, that’s the above situation which I have gone through with the florist. And here is the there images which I will be getting from them for RM15…
… which I can easily get it myself… (Ok, maybe for the two cakes photos, I might get the real cake image, but I could have get it from their website too!)

unfortunately jo, i regret that noel.com.my is just as lousy as the company that ee leen has dealt with.
